Our customer smells gasoline while driving, stop driving immediately. Our mechanics examined a 2006 Boxster and found that the problem appeared to be coming from the fuel tank itself and the fuel pump area.

How we fix it?

The tank can crack over the years and develop leaks. If you are smelling gas coming from under the hood, the fuel tank expansion tank, rollover valve and all the lines should be checked immediately and replaced as needed. For safety reasons the customer requested all new ones. -Fuel Pump -Fuel Tank -Rear Brake Pad & Rotor
