Generally, the thickness of the brake pads is about 1.5 cm. If you find that the shims are worn down to only about 5mm remaining, the shims will need to be replaced. Before the brake pads wear out, when you step on the brakes, the warning pads on the brake pads will rub against the brake disc, making a very high-pitched, high-pitched sound.
How we fix it?
To ensure that your car is always able to consistently execute the swiftest, safest stops possible, we strongly recommend changing the brake pads before they exhibit the irregularities mentioned above—or worse.
