Our client was traveling along the SLE towards Woodland. Our client was traveling along the first lane and noticed that the vehicle in front of him was slowing down due to debris on the roadway. Our client also slowed down and noticed that the vehicle behind him was not slowing down. Our client released the brakes and allowed the vehicle to continue forward, but there was no more space in front of him. When our client's brakes came to a complete stop, the vehicle behind hit the back of our client.
